    NO! go on your parents insurance, top gear had £2,500 and bought some good cars for 17 year old ((including insurance)) ) hope this helped!

    its all a money making scheme.. they screw all us young drivers out of thousands of pounds. you might as well just drive uninsured or on someone elses name
